Keyword / Long Tail Keyword

A keyword refers to the search term entered into a search engine to retrieve search results. The term "search term" is somewhat confusing as a search term in reality often consists of multiple words but is still referred to as a keyword. In the case of long search phrases (keywords), they are also known as Long Tail Keywords.
